Good Morning!

Gold and Silver and the miners have grinded higher since after the Fed-induced selloff last Wednesday.

Gold has maintained record highs as it trades around $2650 and Silver at $31.20 as I pen this.

The key resistance for the entire sector is now Silver at $31.50 to $31.75 on the daily chart, and $32 on the weekly chart.

Friday is the end of the week and next Monday is the end of the month and the quarter. So we will have fresh and significant technical developments to look forward to. 

Gold & Silver Bull Like the 1970s

The Gold & Silver Bull from 1970 to 1980 was far stronger than the one from 2001 to 2011 in both nominal and real terms.

GDX & GDXJ Relative Strength Charts

Keep an eye on these ratio charts.

First we plot GDX & GDXJ against the Stock Market.

These ratios are very close to breaking out. 

Here we plot GDX and GDXJ against Gold.

They are a tiny bit weaker than the above charts, but remain in position for a breakout.
