Chart 1: HUI Seasonals 1996-2010

During the bull years of 2000 to 2007 and 2009-2011, the HUI often made interim peaks in May. It happened in 5 of those years. In 2009 the gold stocks peaked at the very start of June. Could that happen again?

We have to cut this update short as we are preparing for our presentation at the Metals Investor Forum.

Our views should be clear from our editorial, video update and we also tend to agree with what Dr. Kern's system is implying at the moment.

If you missed the huge rebound of the past few months do not worry or panic into stocks that have gone vertical. Have patience and realize that there will be a buying opportunity soon. One thing you can consider is buying half positions (2%-3%) in a few stocks with limited downside. If you are putting new money to work right now then please realize the potential for a sharp summer correction.

Our methods are not perfect and we certainly make mistakes (which we admit because that is how we learn and grow), but we have crushed the benchmarks and competition since we started our model portfolio nearly 7 years ago.

Jordan focuses nearly exclusively on the gold sector and in my opinion does a good job either being right, or getting right when adjustment is needed.  He moves forward without hype, bias or ego.

Thanks for all your great work - charts and analysis is the best there is.

I'm a new member - just want to say how much I appreciate your expert advice but mostly, your direct, honest and zero bullshit approach.
